Structural connections subcomponents

Structural connections subcomponents

Do the new structural connections subcomponents (plates and bolts) be a schedulable and markable.

This must be good for counting full steel mass and bolts, doing a detail drawings for small projects by Revit.

Likewise they must be able to be separated out - the "connection" as Revit sees it currently is one element.  in reality, it comes out to the field on separate trucks (some pieces are connected to the column, others to the beam, and the bolts come in a big box that the erector grabs from and adds in as he puts it together).  So any assembly, phasing, scheduling is currently not possible in Revit using these components.  Only final condition is possible.

Hi,

Thank you very much for your suggestions. We agree that the ability to work with individual objects opens new possible workflows for the structural connections and we will take them into consideration for the future versions.

Your contribution is very valuable and it helps us to develop software that fulfils customer needs and workflows.

Kind regards,

Irina

Hi,

I think status can be changed too implemented.

Of cause  we can count mass plates out of box, but there already is Idea about that for next development stage.

Thank you.

Ok, we have mass counting. What's next?

Oh no, we can't count mass by multycategory schedule!

And we can't select subcomponents from schedule.

Status changed to: Implemented

We are pleased to say that this has been implemented in Revit! Thank you for your contribution to improving Revit!
