Problem install revit 2016 to windows 10

I have problem downloading revit 2016 student version to my acer i7 64 bits laptop, attached printscreen image. how can I get it install?

If you did not manage to resolve the installation issue yet; try the following:

Pre-Installation Check

1. Logged on as an Administrator.
2. Disable your Antivirus and firewall software.
3. Disable UAC (User Account Control) If you don't know how; see LINK HERE
4. Add autodesk.com to your internet security Trusted Sites safe/white list.
5. Empty your TEMP folder. 

• To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Explorer and hit Enter. If prompted, you may ignore any files that are currently in use.
• Alternatively; run Disk Cleanup (you can type Disk Cleanup in the windows run command) and clean all temp, web, and installation files)

Download and Installation

Download and install the software from Autodesk Virtual Agent

click through the links to the download section of the product you need.  It will download in parts (either single or multiple depending on the software).  When you extract (double click) the istalled Part 1 you will be prompted to extract to C:\Autodesk (preserve this location). Once the extraction is finished the installation should start...from that point on it is straight forward

Note: If you receive any further error...locate the installation log file in the temp folder %TEMP% and attach it in a reply to this post

You should post your installation log instead of screen grabs.  But I suspect it might be the Medium Resolution Libraries failing.

Try getting them there and installing again.  If it fails again, post the log.

Hello Mr. Travis Nave,

I have seen your posts on this issue and I have dissabled firewall UAC etc.

I have windows 10 Home intel i7 CPU 32 GB ram (NEW COMPUTER) but I have no luck installing Autocad 2017 and Revit 2017!  I've tried to install several times.  On another post, you talk about the setup.ini file to edit but I have no idea where to find this file.  Anyway PLEASE help me and let me know what is my install problem (I see 1603 error and 1619

I am having the same issue.  I have followed suggestions in this thread and am still finding it impossible to successfully download the student version of Revit 2016 on my new Windows 10 (home) laptop.  When I attempt the download it says "Installation complete. Some products failed to install." Those products that failed to install are: Autodesk Revit 2016 and Autodesk Revit Content Libraries 2016.

Welcome to the community..

Did you download and install using the Autodesk Virtual Agent?  If not then

Download and install per:

1. Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.
2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

If you want the full recommended installation steps, click on the installation link in my signature.

However if the installation does fail using this method, please post your installation log file here so we can review it.  Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #.  Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Good luck on your installation and report back on your progress.
