Linking Material base colors via scripting

Hi All,

Is there away to link multiple materials Base color together  to when you change one then all change?? Does anyone have a Script for this?

I mean from 2023 I think..(or maybe 2022.1 or something i can't remember) you can select multiple materials and change various shared attributes all at once). Ie if you select multiple materials in the material editor and they all have a diffuse colour attribute, you can change the colour to red and with all of them selected they will all change to the same red.

@richardlevene VRED 2023 came with the decoupled material editor and multi-selection property editing.

Hi Rich/ Pascal,

That's Great and I have seen that feature that your both talking about unfortunately we are running an older version of Vred here, and I'm not sure when we plane on upgrading. I know it can be done by scripting as well so if either of you have any more info on that or can help that would be great.
