I realized I forgot the install and help docs in previous zip posted.

Latest PurgeIDs with help docs
This has the PurgeIDs (PID) command that is used to diagnose what files have excess AppIDs, and then clean them as needed. It does things "dbx" style, meaning no opening in the acad window, all in memory, like he Autodesk AppID cleaner does. Its the same code doing the cleaning, from Kean Walmsley at Autodesk.
The PID tool actually does several things, such as layer renaming, xref path revising and more.
Look at the help docs included.
It also has the "CC" command used to modify xref layer props with single click, and walk up and down the nesting ladder to see and possibly modify the layer at each level. Some other commands too...
Be sure to unblock the .net dll's as mentioned in the included instructions, you MUST do that for things to work, its easy.
Also note on acad 2018 and before you might have to edit the acad.exe.config to allow loading of .net assemblies, and I can help on that if needed.
Its an easy edit, and well documented but kind of obscure.
Thanks
