Switching between the Drawing Editor and VLIDE

For many moons I've been making a one-click switch between the ACAD drawing editor and the VLIDE window by simply clicking in the appropriate open window.  Something has gone wrong and I can't do it any more.

Is there a simple variable that needs to be set or has Autodesk "improved" the software?

Thank You,

I've actually stopped using VLIDE because of bugs similar to what you've described. Other limitations are not able to see the same file in multiple windows so I can quickly jump from one portion of the code to another portion.  As Autodesk had recommended a couple of versions back, I've started using Visual Studio Code. If you have AutoCAD 2022, you can really take advantage of the debugging user interface: AutoCAD 2022 Developer and ObjectARX Help | Getting Started with Visual Studio Code (AutoLISP/VS Cod....  But if not, it still works as long as you're running Windows 10.
