Mview Script SCR

I am running the following script and need to change the scale of the inserted viewport.

_Mview

_Named

nwBuild709

8.5, 5.5

Everything goes well except I can't figure out how to call for the scale.  When manually operating Mview > Named, there is a command prompt to "right click mouse to change scale".  Any ideas?

Alternatively, if I knew where Mview > Named was picking up it's default (1/32" = 1' for me), then maybe I can change the default scale at the top of the command.

Let me know.

Thank you.

Isn't that your CANNOSCALE setting in modelspace when you created the named view? That's how it works here.

I'll give that a whirl.  Does the CANNOSCALE have to be set prior to creating the View or can it be retro set?  Thank you.

My CANNOSCALE is set to 1/8" = 1' and the Mview > Named comes in at 1/32" = 1', so CANNOSCALE doesn't seem to be the default for the Mview > Named command.  Any other ideas?

When the mview is made it appears to be a locked viewport so un lock it, just go mspace for me in metric its easy zoom scalefactorXP and the scale is set, I am sure can do the same thing in feet. Or set the variable "customscale" for the viewport.

Use dumpit.lsp to inspect the viewport.

The problem there is that the process of selecting the scale actually changes the size of the VP (run through it manually to see).  If we could set that scale (or pre-set the default choice) with the original script, the zoom would be correct and the size of the VP would be correct and it would be a clean, simple script for setting up Layouts with a VP that is the correct size, scaled, and panned to a pre-set named view.

The question remains, where is ACAD picking up the default scale of 1/32" = 1', OR how do I script to choose scale (at the right click to choose scale step of command)?
