Lisp To Automatically Create a DATA EXTRACTION to EXCEL Document Automatically when Saving.

Hello all,

We have a drawing that is full of set blocks that will never change, and we use these blocks to create 2D floor plans of the same modular building set up. But for different clients.

We have all of our attributes set up and we can manually extract all the data to an excel document so we run this often to see the data.

We have been trying to get this section automated. If I was to save the drawing, we are trying to get the inventory list to automatically save in a shared location so that can then be handed out to staff.

We have looked into the lisps and we are pretty much self taught so we are a bit stuck with the Auto Lisp creation.

Any advice / help would be appreciated.

Hello,

We currently use command: DATAEXTRACTION and then we follow the instructions through.

We have not set this up for ATTOUT, but again we are self taught so we may not have looked into that?

Please attach an example of your file.
And an example of what you want to get.

I assume that these items are not direclty exported thru DATAEXTRACTION hence the request for a lisp code.

The data needed to come up with the values for this are on the blocks. but some are 0.0 or no values at all like rental rate. I guess thats the role of the "staff" to finsih it for you.

I bet its Count x [ ELECPREP_TIME / PREP_TIME / RENTAL_RATE ], but yeah, the values are  0.00  on the block

its an interesting request i give you that.
