I think my basic question here should be sent to Autodesk, but since I cannot seem to find a way to submit it to them, I will be asking 2 questions in 1 post.
1) Who can we contact to help fix the new code editor they are using in the forums?
Here's my issues/complaints:
- The window is WAY too small, I have to scroll way too much and I'm on a desktop. Can we make it bigger?
- Keep the exit button visible at all times. If I have scrolled to the bottom of this editor, why should I have to scroll all the way back up just if I want to cancel? I feel like this is Modal Dialog Boxes 101.
- Why is AutoLISP / VisualLISP, or even 'Generic' for that matter, an option in the drop-down for languages? I get it, the language isn't probably as widely used as the others (or is it?).. but these languages are specifically made for this community?!
- Please let me edit/format my code after I have accepted and closed the editor. I can't highlight a line and change any colors anymore and I feel this was very beneficial to distinguish either important changes or comments in code snippets.
2) Can anybody tell me how I could submit question 1 to the relevant people at Autodesk? I do not have a support link bookmarked, nor can I find a place to submit something like this.. I challenge you to go to the Forum Hopepage and PLEASE tell me what sequence of links I must follow to get to the correct support page. Perhaps it's already there and I cannot see it? Maybe I'm crazy. Or maybe it's an issue that should be mentioned also?
Anyway, I'd appreciate any help!
Best,
~DD
