How to create a Dynamic Block

Hello,

i was sent over here from the Autocad 2013-2016 forum as they believed what I am looking for would be something you can help me with

I am trying to create what I believe is a dynamic block but I cannot seem to figure it out.

I have attached a screenshot of the drawing I am having trouble with.

What I want to do is the following: CT1 has connection points CTBA 1-CTBA 5, I want the corresponding "CTBA" block to create circles and numbers 1-5 when I initiate the block. I want it to do this for all points CTBA 1-CTB47 and be adjustable if I only have say 35 points instead of my current 47. (Note the board shows 54 because that is the maximum number of points it can allow)

Is this something that can be done or no?

If not my second option would be I want to create circles as attributes so they can be hidden just like text can.

Are either of these possible?

Thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

using a dynamic block, with 47 Visibility States, It will probably do the trick.

But, the best place to get help with dynamic blocks, is the Dynamic Blocks forum...
