Flat centerline of a plate

Here I am again, guys!

I need a routine that takes a plate and creates a continuos line based on the centerline of a polyline or its vertex (the easiest option) as you can see in the example bellow. Can someone please help me or at least guide me in the process? Thank you in advance!

I wish I could create something like that so fast as you did! You rock! THANK YOUUUU IT WORKS! I gave you way more lines to program I must say. I'll start using it.

I liked your adjustments. I'll put them in the lisp.
I think I'll get the other lisp you sent to me and comb it into this one.
So that I can either draw a plate by its centerline and after that offset the thickness OR use a profile plate as well, like a initget choice
