error: compiler found fatal error[s] "[filename]"

After some revisions to the ,LSP file, I am trying to rebuild the .VLX but get the above error.

Is there any way of finding out where the error is?

I found it by inspection (Lost In Stupid Parentheses

Please write more about it, so we can find a hint when we are searching for that message/problem in the feature.

It was a simple matter of having one extra parenthesis about 2/3 of the way down the file, at a point that truncated a condition., or complex line.  I found it in TextPad by using parenthesis matching (Ctrl+M).  I had copied and pasted a block of code from a similar program, but obviously sloppily.
