Is there any way to have a dimension line/leader lines show a width and have the length of one leader be stretchable? The attached image shows what I am looking for. The first point needs to attached to nearest and the second perpendicular to the second line. I need to be able to pull the length of one side which varies depending on placement.
What I am doing now is using a dimension line, exploding it, then extending one line and adding a 'leader' perpendicular to the extended line. The width, extended line and the leader line vary in length depending on the space I have to work with. Then I add an mtext to the end of the and align that mtext with the leader. So is there a lisp routine that could possibly do this? I could create a dynamic block but that would have a lot of moving parts with flips and stretches, but maybe that is what I have to do. Looking for something quicker than that.
