I would like to convert that elevation data to isolines map From national land board site. There is free raster and vector data for elevation in different data sets. Which one to choose and how to convert/open.

The site:     https://geoportaal.maaamet.ee/index.php?lang_id=1&page_id=607#tab1

For example map number 64691 for raster the data is in tif, tab and twf files.

For vector there is 1. geodata - arcGIS (LYR, MXD), 2. Estri Shape - Autocad LT shape layers (kihid) (korgus-height) 3. Mapinfo

Hello @Anonymous,

This would require customization functions like custom LISP. AutoCAD LT does not support LISPs and the APPLOAD command is not available.

I don't know why Natasha was being shy.  Autodesk has a product called Civil 3D that can create elevation contours from other data sources.  It's not cheap.  If you have only an occasional need for this conversion, I recommend you hire a local surveying company to do the conversion for you to polylines at the various elevations.

Some of the land data suppliers can provide contour lines as an option of dwg output, it costs nothing to enquire.

There is some free GIS software out there that can read these type of files and export a dxf or dwg. Google !
