Custom AMTITLE creation with AutoLISP for AutoCAD Mechanical

So I'm trying to sell some of our old guard on the benefits of utilizing part references.  I've been tasked with looking into how to streamline the AMTITLE process with AutoLisp so that we can take advantage of the parts list function in .dwgs with multiple views shown in model space. The ideal goal would be a command that only requires 2 point inputs to determine a rectangle, but I don't even know if that's possible. Does anyone here have any ideas?

Like others here dont have mechanical so no idea of what amtitle does, if you explain more may be able to do something but would not be truly tested. 

I would suggest post a movie so others can see what is required.
