However, my experience with AutoCAD Mechanical (another vertical product) leads me to suggest that you check your Options>Profiles tab and make sure that you didn't somehow switch to using the standard AutoCAD profile. A lot of users open AutoCAD by double clicking on a drawing file and forget that there is code in the desktop shortcut that specifically sets vertical users toward using the vertical menu in the AutoCAD program. Without this desktop shortcut being used, users sometimes find that they inadvertently launch plain old AutoCAD (Vanilla, as it is known).
