Annotative scaled attributes disapearing

Hi all,

Issue and steps :

Enter Model Space from Paper Space to scale attributes.

In the properties window, set the annotation scale to 1:2.

Some attributes disappear, others scale correctly.

Attached are two files, both are created from the same base file.

Both files are inserted into a drawing also attached.

The attributes in the file 'Smart Bat' scale correctly using the above method.

The attributes in the file 'Studio Cob' disappear.

The attributes in both files are on the same layer; TSL - LX - Attributes

Also the attributes of other blocks are disappearing in the same way, the block's are those named H30V, their attributes are on the layer TSL - Truss - Attributes. This blocks are created from a different master file.

Any one got clue why this apparently random disappearance is happening? I haven't been able to find a difference in the files and the reason I use master files to start blocks from is to ensure consistency and hopefully prevent this sort of thing happening.

Presuming you get this problem in every drawing and you tried purging the blocks out and re-insert them. After inserting the blocks check if there stil the same. See if the annotation scale of the attribute's you want to see is pressend after insertion.

I wasn't able to recreate the problem, they scale just fine when I do it. Do you use any program to insert them?

You also need to make sure the annotative scales in the text match the scale of the viewport, or they won't show (see attached pic). If your viewport is 1/4"=1'-0", you need to add the concurrent scale to the annotative text/object
