Hi guys, so I've been looking doing more with ACAD customization.  Please note our CAD manager died.  I loaded an old MNU file to see if it was what I was looking for and it took down all my BASIC AUTOCAD MENUS ARE GONE! I've tried using "Ribbon" command. Not sure what the answer is here.  I've posted some pic.'s below so you could see what I'm talking about. Does anyone have any ideas? I could really use some help.  Thanks!

@acwolfe4TMW4  hi,

i'm very sorry to hear about the CAD Manager.

try this

close any AutoCAD open

go to this folder:

C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2021\R24.1\enu\Support

among other files you  will see these

acad.bak.cuix

acad.cuix

move acad.cuix to safe place (or just rename it)

rename acad.bak.cuix to acad.cuix

start AutoCAD, this may solve the issue

First of all sorry to hear that your CAD manager died. Hopefully you are in the process of searching for a replacement.
As for your missing AutoCAD ribbon try the following:

Menuload or CUILoad and load by

look for the following depending on your AutoCAD version:

C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Autocad 20xx\enu\Support\acad.cuix

@acwolfe4TMW4 By chance are you in a custom WORKSPACE? A quick cycling through the available workspaces in AUtoCAD then back to your desired one should help a lot.

Thanks, this worked. Not sure what the original problem was.

A corrupt mnu will kill the menu's done it a few times. Like others had to resort to reloading, we save our custom menu setup in a workspace say the users name this helps for times like this as it tends to not kill the other menu's.
