Identify File To Original Version Of AutoCAD (Copied Across Visualization Forum)

Morning All,

Just a question out of curiosity...

Can VBA be used in some way to identify which version of AutoCAD was used to create a file in the first place and then start up the correct AutoCAD version, eg. AutoCAD 2013, AutoCAD P&ID 2013, AutoCAD Civil 2013?

Not that I'm aware of. The best you can do is find out the file version and that doesn't change for at least 3 versions of acad.
