How to load Autocad templeates through VBA

Hello All 

I'd like to load dimensions that I stated on my excel sheet into an AutoCAD drawing template, instead of doing it manually each time. 

Furthermore I have 5 different options of data, so I'd like to link this data with the correct template to be used. 

My field is filtration units, so I'd like to link the filter dimensions to my pre-existing templates through VBA.

Of course my knowledge in how to do so is limited, therefore please help!!

I wonder if this is the best way to try and do what you want? There might be a more efficient way to use AutoCAD. First, why do you need Excel? AutoCAD alone should be sufficient. Maybe you could explain your process better?
