Who is logged into Autodesk Vault right now?

Hello,

It would be very helpful to be able to see from within a Vault Client who is logged into the system.  New within 2022, you can look at the log files, if that toggle was enabled on Vault Server.  But then the user will have to login to the Server, start up ADMS, go to the Audit Logs, find the log file for that day, then parse through the information.  That will give the information of when they have signed in & out.  If you have a system with a few hundred users, that can be a daunting task to then correlate that data.

Something like this UI where a simple column would have the means of showing someone with Admin privileges who is currently logged into the system.  This would not show any sort of activity, just the mere presence or absence of the user.  So if there is a need to take down the Server for maintenance, it would be easier to get in touch with the user(s) to inform them of the pending event.

Thanks,

Bryan

If you're using network licenses, you can "kind of" do that using the ADLM interface. It can show you who has a license in use.

Also a column with information about last time the user was log on, just to find no active users/license.

Dear Lord we need this! I cannot believe that at this time we still don't have a straight forward method of auditing how many licenses are in use. We use Autodesk accounts mostly, but a few Vault Accounts, and need something that works - Please.

Oh yes it would be great for this purpose ! I vote !

I manage many solutions, and from this POV (and some others...) Vault is actually not 'admin friendly'
