Visualization files to include all layer information as it was saved in the drawing. Similarly to how Saved Views do when created from the Native CAD program.

Currently when a visualization file is created for Vault's Autodesk Viewer, or Design Review, only layers that are visible are included in the visualization file. We cannot use these viewers because of this issue.

I work for a global company with manufacturing facilities in 5 different countries. We make use of language layers to allow each facility to work from a single drawing that has drawing notes in their native language. I recently noticed that Saved Views created from the native CAD program include all layers in the state that the are in the drawing (See Attached Screen Shot). This is exactly what we need for the internal Viewers to do.

As a work around, we currently create PDF files with all language layers turned on so that they are included on the PDF. This creates a displeasing looking drawing that requires the end user to turn off the layers that they do not need.

I recently noted this in the Vault Forum and was asked to post this idea here: Vault Forum Post
