Version migration tool for Vault

Vault has several user defined settings like 'searches' und 'links' that are lost when changing from one version to another (e.g. 2019->2020).

It would be nice to have a migration tool like in Inventor to copy all such settings from the last version to the current.

An Idea is to have an Export and Import Function, so it can be possible to import the settings to another PC.

You have the posibility of saving current settings on local drive and use as needed on both current PC or another and also you can deploy your settings to the rest of the users if they also have the add-in installed. The one thing I am not sure now is when you apply the settings for different versions of the software!

Thanks for the hint towards the Tunderdome add-in.

It might work for the issue. However it is a third party tool. Therefore it is hard to integrate in large companies with many internal regulations...

Furthermore it does support only Vault 2017-2019. At least as far as I could find out.
