Vault item bom: position for new row

Hallo Vault-Team,

regarding Vault item BOM (Bill of Material) we have one recommendation for a new release.

Is it possible to set position numbers for new added rows in the vault item BOM? Now the position number for new/Manually added rows is blank and have to be set manually by the user. 

The function should work like the automatic adoption of numbers in the column/field "row order".

The reason for this idea are ERP-/SAP-interfaces and the transmit of item boms.

Is this idea technically possible? Are there any disadvantages?

What is if this would be implemented: Are there any problems with CAD-Positions wich are added afterwords in the assembly?

For exmple: whats is if the row 1.1 is added manually in the Vault item Bom and a engineer is then creating a revision of the assembly and places a part under the Position 1 (VLT-000058) wich would correctly results as position number 1.1? Are there any problems with the matching of the actual BOM-Blob and the modified item bom?
