Drag and drop from VE only works if the files happen to already be in the local workspace. Also, it will not update the local files if they are out-of-date, which also means we won’t download the xref’s or repair references if needed. This is a technical limitation to the way windows works. We have to pass the file path information at the start of the drag, and we don’t get a notification back when the drop happens.
sounds like a challenge for autodesk to make it possible
2. missing BOM Information
during the insert via drag and drop the Information from the BOM are lost
sounds more like a missing Feature, possible to put it in to the challenge
