Vault Datastandard Support not only Inventor, AutoCAD, Mechanical

User wants a support to DataStandard for all integrated Autodesk Applications.

For Customers is it not ease of use to have different workingpath for file handling and properties in the files.

Please integrate all Autodesk Applications at Data Standard.

Thank you for posting the idea, but it is really broad, and not all applications are developed by the Vault team.

Can you be more specific as to which other applications Data Standards should be in?

Currently, Customer wants a DataStandard integration at AutoCAD Architecture and all other AutoCAD Applications they have a 2D Drawings with a Title.

AutoCAD applications will always play a role for customers in the coming years.

It's much more easyer for a User to pick a Folder at DataStandard Dialog as pick a Folder at Windows Explorer.

DataStandard Dialog allow a completing at user at defined properties in combination with rules (mandatory Fields, selection list etc.)  

At the AutoCAD User defined Properties dialog or title dialog user have no Options to use this.

With DataStandard User have one place to create / edit properties easier and faster. Much more ease of use as the standard AutoCAD dialog.

Additional - We are observing on the market that customers who previously worked with Windows Explorer-based AutoCAD applications are interested in Vault as a document management system.
