Having a standalone installer for Data Standard, specifically one that we can interact with through command line, would be beneficial to VDS deployments. Yes it is possible to create a deployment image of Vault with Data Standard, but this does not help with users who already have Vault installed without Data Standard.
Thank you for posting the idea. However, we are not trying to simplify the installer experience to make sure all components are available through one installer. This also helps with updates and fixes.
