Vault Copy design feature does not allow the user to introduce a Prefix or Postfix if an Auto Numbering scheme is used.
We use multiple drawings for the same assembly number. For instance a single assembly will have a Lifting Drawing, an arrangement drawing, a Test configuration etc..So this is denoted by adding Post fix alphabets for the the same assembly numbers. When a copy design is needed, then vault automatically renames all parts and returns error after copying the first drawing. Here it is very important for the user to be able to add additional Post fix for the same numbers. Hope this will be taken up seriously by Autodesk and would be implimented in future versions.
