Currently in Vault Connector 2026.2 we can identify which Attachments/Links of an Item shall be forwarded to Fusion Manage when synchronizing a Vault Item.
This setting is great and helps a lot of Customers to tailor the transfer to their needs.
Current Situation that causes an Issue:
When an Item has multiple attachements with the same exact file name the Connector transfer an Item to Fusion Manage.
After the Item is transferred it throws an Error 500 and talks about duplication of ids (file names in this case) .
Which strategy could help the Connector in such a case:
If a Administrator can set a switch to only transfer the latest or tip version of a duplicate file to Fusion Manage it would prevent the method from running into a an error.
It couls still throw a warning as the Vault Administrator may need to go ahead and clean the Items from having multiple of the same file names attached or linked to one Item (in all cases the files have different version numbers!!)
That would prevent the transfer from receiving any "Hard Errors" during transfer and still providing useful information for the Vault Administrator to further clean the Vault from such issues.
