The problem we are trying to solve: when managers review ECOs for approval, and sometimes checkers, they must review the entire drawing/part/assembly. Often, with a new version or revision, we really just need them to review the latest changes. We'd like to highlight those changes to save time and make checking/reviewing easier, and make checkers and reviewers more likely to quickly check and review.
The ask: Allow the viewer in Vault Thin Client (or Pro, or ADR) compare visualizations side-by-side and highlight changes in this version or revision, similar to how code compiler programs (or Notepad++) compare code files side-by-side and show deletions/additions/changes, or similar to how Microsoft Office products show Track Changes. This would allow our reviewers, approvers, and checkers to review only the changes made in this revision or version.
