Set standard Vault Thumbnail on ITEM when primary file was deleted

In Vault when I create a new ITEM it is displayed a Standard-Thumbnail.

I attache at the ITEM a primary file and the Thumbnail is updatet.

Now I delete the primary file and the Thumbnail will remain.

For me, a logical behavior would be that when I delete the primary file, the thumbnail will be set to the standardthumbnail of Vault.

Makes perfect sense compared to current behavior which makes no sense.
