Revit - Vault Options are confusing

Revit - Vault Options are confusing

Description

This is a very confusing part of the Revit Vault Options. The term ‘Add to Vault’ suggests that you are explicitly defining which files can be added to vault. Yet, in the default list it is listing temporary file types which you wouldn’t want in Vault.

The WikiHelp says;
“Add File and Add Folder options apply only to the file extensions in this list.

Once again it suggests only these file types can be added.

Impact

Confusion to the user and therefore misuse of the dialog could occur.

Severity

Medium

Solution

Improve the WikiHelp, or better yet improve the dialog to make it less ambiguous to the user.
