Revision Table in Office
We would like to incorporte the Revsion Table in Office 5Word and Excel) as like as you can do in CAO (Autocad for exemple). Today you must we must replicate Revison (primaire, secondaire, tertiare) in Word manually.
Can you provide examples of why you place the revision table in a Word or Excel file? What are these files used for and who is the end consumer of the Word or Excel file?
At our company we use Autodesk as our DMS for both Autocad as Office (Excel/word) documents.
The use of a revision history table, mapped to an office document template, driven by the DMS, sounds to me like a basic "must have" feature.
Any professional document that I know of, has incorporated revision tables. To mention some examples: requirement documents, functional specifications, governance plans. Documents that have an intended audience within any organization. Audience that needs to be informed on the authors / and changes in that document. Plain and simple.
So, just like @Anonymous, I am wondering on how to implement this in Autodesk Vault.
