When viewing documents (word, excel, and other types of non-cad data) in Vault Thin Client, explorer and other internet browsers are downloading the documents from the Vault to the local folder.
In environment where every documents is controlled, there should be no local copies of the controlled documents.
It would be nice if the Vault Thin Client come with ability to render office document and display them directly in the browser. This would preclude the necessity to download those files.
Autodesk has the technology to do this as it is done in the Autodesk cloud solutions. So it would be nice it this would be implemented her as well.
