Rename Wizard: Open "Comment" or "Description" column to allow free entering some comments

Rename Wizard: Open the "Comment" or "Description" column to allow free entering some comments/reasons for the change.

We use Rename Wizard to reserve PN in the vault. It's easy to lose track if you somehow haven't written down the PN you reserved or lost it.

Regardless of why you use the Rename Wizard, it shall allow comments when you make a change to the names.

Thanks

Thank you for posting the idea. Would the same comment be used for all files in the wizard or would you set them individually?

Hi @ihayesjr, The snapshot is the history of one single .txt file.

I think it's the default comment "Rename" for all files when you using Wizard.

I think you are misunderstanding my question. If we were to implement a change to allow the user to add a comment in the Rename Wizard, would it be one entry for all files or setting the comment for individual files?

Thanks, @ihayesjr,  I will think about setting up individual files. If you want to have one entry for all files, you always can copy and paste for that purpose.
