Remove annoying dialog "Please use Get Revision to download the latest information before performing this operation"

Hello,

can you please remove that dialog? It does not make any sense to me and is super annoying. Also it stops some of our automated workflows occasionally.

First, I do not get the meaning behind the message. Second, I can only click "OK", so I do not have a choice anyways. And last but not least, there is no option to turn it of for the action, session or permanently.

Regards

Erik

Hmm, the screencast seems to have been lost.

I think it would be better if it just showed up once after it is triggered not once for everything that is out of date!

The fact that it pops up for every file that has been updated causes a lot of frustration in our office, why do we need to see this more than once not for every single file? The ability to suppress it for that session like you can with other Vault popups is needed unless that behavior changes.

@ihayesjr Irvin, any chance we get the ability to suppress this message? It frequently blocks our automated configuration machines.

Are you still seeing this in 2023 or 2024? I am not able to reproduce this message.

Also, when you place the latest revision of the assembly, does the assembly used previous released versions of the sub-components?

Yes, sir. It happens most often, if you place or open iAssembly members from Vault and picking an older revision than the current one.
