When checking in Inventor files a 3D DWFx file is generated. This same functionality does not exist when checking in Plant 3D files. Plant 3D files only generate a 2D dwf of the model and paper space.
Similar functionality to Inventor would allow for viewing the latest version of the file without having the application (only a view file is necessary), accessing the project or manually making the 3d dwfx using the export process from Plant 3D.
