Multiple state changes on items should not be canceled completely when there is a restricition on only one of them

Hi, 

when performing state changes to multiple items at once and one of them is not possible due to state change restrictions there is just a meaningless message and all state changes get canceled. 

It would help if 1) the message tells me what item has the restriction and 2)  the not restricted state changes could be performed.
