Limit Job Processor User List

Please allow the ability to set defined users able to run the Job Processor utility so just any account with Vault access can't run it. We've ran into an issue twice now where a random user has launched the Vault Job Processor on their machine (on accident and unknowingly) and it is picking up jobs without the correct permissions and configuration. It would be nice to have the option to limit the Job Processor role to a specific user(s) to prevent a job being processed on the wrong machine/setup. Thanks!

Thank you for posting the idea; however, you do have the ability to prevent users from running the Job Processor under their account. You can create a custom from Document Editor Level 1 or Level 2 and remove the Job Queue Reserve permission. 

Then users with this role will not be able to take a job from the queue.

It would also be great if you could limit which vault the job processor can access.

(Edit: You can limit it from having access, but then it will only fail the jobs. I meant keep it from taking taking the jobs from certain vaults in the first place) 

If I'm testing a custom job in a test vault on the same server, i can't limit my local job processor from taking jobs from the production vault or vice versa.

If you are building a custom Job, you have to register your custom job with a Job Processor. Other Job Processors without the registration of the custom Job will not attempt to take those jobs from your test Vault.

Also, you can configure the Job Processor you are using for your custom Job testing to skip processing standard jobs. This is done by modifying the Job Processor config file.
