Current behavior:
Email notification can be configured at each lifecycle step using Group Roles only.
Issue:
Not everyone within a Group Role in an organization is working in the same project or product. Therefore, users are getting constantly spammed by notifications that don't even matter to their daily work.
As a result, the current email notification functionality becomes unusable.
New Functionality:
Users with at least read permission to files or folders to be notified within the population inside Group Roles.
