Inventor add in, replace home screen recent files with recent checked in vault list

On the home screen in Inventor you can have a list of files you recently opened.

I would like to suggest the option when the vault add in is installed and logged in this Recent changes to Recent Check In or Check Out, by current user of course, (both or either) and when opening the file it would open the file from vault.

Thank you for posting the idea. Can you tell me what problem you are trying to solve with this idea?

Users are opening local files and ignoring the check out message. This gives problems when checking out assemblies files with out of date (newer or older) sub components during check in. If they open from vault they get the current version in vault and less issues arise.

We could also restrict the users from using the recent files (set number of files to 1). However it is an useful overview and 9 out of 10 times the files you want to open are there. When opening I would like it to get the current files from vault.

Excellent idea. So far I see that, when working in a Vault context, users tend to switch off the home screen.
