I'm not sure if this is the responsibility of the Vault or the Inventor dev team, but it's within Inventor so I'll take a punt here.
Also not sure how many people use this functionality, but it has the potential to be amazing with a few improvements. This is really a quite minor quality of life suggestion.
When using Vault with Inventor, you can include & display properties in the Inventor Vault browser. They're tagged alongside the file name in the browser. Which when customised to your liking, can look something like this:
Anyone reading this whilst thinking eh, how do you even do that? Check out my quick video tutorial guide here #ShamelessPlug.
It's great functionality, but looking at the 3 properties I have linked adjacent to the file name in the picture above, can anyone tell what true and false is actually referring to? Exactly. In that example, it's referring to whether or not the file is linked to a Vault Professional Item. It's really quite amazing that we can do this, but it would be nice if instead of true we could have the familiar Item icon, like this:
I guess this issue applies to anyother boolean type property, I appreciate the difficulties in displaying other properties in this way but the linked to Item property would be a great one to start with.
