Exporting Vault Admin Settings

It would be nice to be able to export the Vault Admin settings from the Vault Client.  Mainly looking for the lifecycle settings, categories, category rules, ect. 

Basically anything that can be configured in the window below.

Yes, export and import of all settings like in inventor or acad, that´s a great Idea!!

vault server --> Vault --> right click --> export configuration.

This option allows no separation, so you have to export/import the whole Vault-congifuration.

Do you habe access to the server?

I do have access and from my experience this does not grab everything we need.  This does drop some of the key configurations, categories, lifecycle settings ect.  The only option right now is to use Autodesk consulting which has a tool to grab all of these settings.

I just want to be able to export a type of report so we can document the current Vault settings that are not on the ADMS.

yes this is also my experience - the "configuration import" drops or combines some configurations if the import is done on a existing vault-db.

Als if the Vault is created new - some of the configurations are lost.

But I have also test another way: If you import the configuration in the "Create Vault diolog" alls settings/Configurations are implemented. Of course this is not always possible.

A export funktion on several menu point would be nice
