Email PDF, step, or...

It would be nice if just could right click a PDF and be able to "send to" email it.

Also via the thin client

End user does not care, or need to know anything about the 'local' file, they just need to email the current PDF from Vault. If no local file 'exists' as far as they are concerned, then they cannot ever work with 'out of date' data!

Thank you for posting the Idea. This ability does exist in the File menu. The right-click menu is already long and we try to populate it with the more common workflows or commands.

Works well for the 'Thick' client, but users of the 'Thin' client still need it.

Someone in purchasing needs to email the drawing to a supplier for quote, but they do not want or need to know 'where' the downloaded drawing is (so they can attach it to an email) they just want to send it. In addition, this time next week when the drawing is updated, a new email need sending, while the user 'should' download again from the Thin client, they 'may' just use the one they already have

Select file in Thin client, RMB > Send To > eMail or RMB > Send > Send File to keep consistency with Thick client

I agree brucenyfeler_0-1663832479853.png, would be helpful.
