ECO link properties for files.

Currently the link properties are only for items, please also make it work for files.

I have run into this issue as well.  It would be very useful to be able to assign linked property values to files as well as items.

It would also be nice if the linked property values would show up in the automated email that gets sent.

Pretty wild that this is still not implemented. Hopefully we can bring some more attention to this and get it on the list of new features.

I just ran into this again with a new client.  They do not work with items and would like to set up linked properties with files in COs.  Please consider enhancing this in the product.

I'd really like to automatically push the ECO number to the design files and show it on my 2d drawing revision block. 

We don't use Items with Vault.
