The actual Clic-license method works well, but it has stopped the develpment of many standalone windows form programs!
It's not possibile to connect in R/W mode to the Vault without having the Vault Client phisically installed!
My suggest is to export and isolate a dll, a module...what you want...and leave it to do the same work as what the client actually does. This also permits the developers to use the SDK API in a completely transparent mode, without depending to the client.
Actually the licensing procedure is hard-coded inside the client - this choice is completely meaningless; it only causes problems.
