Copy Design Released Bias

Copy Design Released Bias

We use the copy design command to start compiles for specific customers. The copy design command can currently only run on the 'latest' file which includes all changes in progress to the base fileset. We need to be able to run this command on the 'latest released' fileset instead - same as how the get command can be run as 'Latest', 'As Released', or 'Latest released' with the release bias checkbox.

Hi @Anonymous

I moved your idea to the forum because this is already possible in Copy Design.

Select the file. you want to start the Copy Design from.

Go to the History tab and select the Release Revision.

Right-click on the Revision in the History tab and select Copy Design.

You should get only the Release Revisions of the associated children in the Copy Design Dialog.

That doesn't do what we need. That method will get the "As Released" fileset. There is currently no way to get the "Latest Released" fileset.
