Check Out/Check In External Rules from Inventor

I'm not sure if this idea should be on this idea board or Inventor, if it needs to be on Inventor just let me know and I can submit it over there. 

In my company, we have many external rules that are vaulted. Currently, we have to go to Vault to check out or check in an external rule. It would be really helpful if we could check out those files from the iLogic tab or from Inventor at all. This would help to not have to go to Vault to manage the external rule check-out/check-in process.

I have a very old request (2013) to have Vault understand and manage iLogic rules.  I hope this request is more successful,
