Autoloader works only if the user is Administrator

Hello,

Today only a user from the Administrator group can upload files. In 2018 we have all kind of Administrators so it we would be a good

idea to also give other kind of Admins the option to use Autoloader to upload files.

In a company we have 2 or 3 ADMINS top and more than 60 users...

The ADMINS can't run all day long after uploading files or getting emails of what to upload. 

The Restriction that only administrator can upload files it's a major bottle neck.

Hello Dan, I tend to avoid the Autoloader, I find it too complicated. Have you tried using the "Check in project" command in Inventor? It is a bit hidden in the main menu of Inventor. But it is far easier to use than Autoloader and can be used by any user as long as he the right to add new files. Regards

I prefer never use it again after your vault is online. The project settings of Autoloader is too rigid.

Either Autodesk better do something to change that, make it work well with existing vault structures and easy to configure, or train your new Admins really well, otherwise they may very likely create some huge mess.

Hi

I agree that Autoloader is rigid but we have nothing else. 

Batch upload of files is always needed and Autoloader is checking the files for errors and that's very good.
