Autoloader (Enforce Unique Files Names) improvement

Autoloader (Enforce Unique Files Names) improvement

Hello,

i think special for the first vault installation it hurts which options autoloader and the check in system have.

Example: i have 300 gb (cad data) which i want to get inside. it's not possible to do this in one step.

So a idea was to upload all parts and subassemblies at first. (check works actual). Than upload the orders (main assemblies) step by step according the time we have. beginning with our master models which we use for new orders.

Problem here is that we would like to reaorganize our folder structure than direct in fault. Because special the folder structure is not optimal actual on our server.

when i see it correct than it's not possible to do this cleaning job in vault up to the moment when we are finish with uploading all cad data because when i moved folder or renamed folder autoloader will at the next upload process generate double files in vault. because the still existing files are in a other folder.

or i need to switch on "enforce unique file..." than i can't upload the files :).

Cleaning after every upload vault from the double files is for me not a acceptable workflow.

So is it possible to implement in autoloader (maybe in the check in function of inventor too) a checkbox: "use existing files from database" so that during the scan process autoloader will check the database for existing files (same name) and set in the iam the referance to this files.

i'm sure the scann than takes some seconds longer or minutes (depends of number of files which should be uploaded) but in my opinion it's better to give the user a option.
