Autodesk Vault Connection Quality

Hi,

would be good if the vault client on users computer could display connection quality to vault server (data such as speed of connection to vault server and latency). Ideally a traffic light system could display this information (green for good connection and latency etc). 

Currently we have to download a file and manually time the download to measure speed.

What will this do for a user who is not an administrator?

What latency values determine the quality of the connection?

We recently moved our vault to a new server and had to do lots of tests on server speed with and with VPN etc. Often if the connection is bad it slows down the the full inventor process. It would a simple way to diagnose if the users issues are being caused by a poor connection to vault.

Yes, but what would the values look like?

If it were just three indicators, Green, Yellow, and Read.

What latency values would you use to determine which colors to show?

Autodesk should be able to provide numbers which are required in order to have a good, medium and bad vault experience
